How do I configure my DS-9500 to use a WiFi network?

How do I set up my email profile in the DS-9500?
  1. Open the Dictation Module
  2. Connect the DS-9500 recorder.
  3. Click on Tools then click on Options and click on Device.
  4. Select Email Profile
  5. Click Add
  6. Select the email account type.
    • Select web based mail if you have one of the specified email accounts.
    • Select SMTP if you have any other email accounts and enter your email address, password and the SMTP server details.
  7. Select the email provider.
  8. Enter a profile name.
  9. Select the Author ID to use.
    • The Author ID must be configured in the Workflow tab.
  10. Enter the Email Address and Password
    • Depending on the email provider you use, you may need to enable “allow less secure apps.”
  11. Click Finish

You can repeat this process to register up to 10 email profiles on the recorder.

How do I set up the device PIN?

PIN Setup:

  1. Go to “device security”
  2. Set a pin lock for the device If this is the first time configuring the pin the “old pin” is 0000 by default
  3. Enter new pin
  4. Check “Enable Device Lock Function…” Box
  5. Select options for when you would like the device to lock
