The DS-2700 incorporates low noise omni-directional microphones. The built-in shock absorber covers the microphone unit, reducing handling noise from the body.
The microphone housing includes a triple layered pop-filter, which helps block the wind noise and plosive sounds when speaking into the microphones.
For classic dictation of your notes or reports, the main microphone will be recording in an omni-directionality mode so that the recorder can be held in any way.
Designed for interviews and small meetings, conference recording controls the directionally of the 2 microphones into a 90° layout, which enables high quality recording in a realistic stereo capture, regardless of where the person speaking is located or the direction of speech

Insert up to 32 Index marks into an audio file to indicate crucial or noteworthy segments of your dictation.
The VCVA function efficiently manages memory by pausing recording during quiet intervals and automatically restarting when it detects sound exceeding a preset threshold.
Insert mode lets you add new recordings directly into existing files, while Overwrite mode allows you to replace dictations at any point. Append mode adds recordings to the end of a file, and the New File button lets you start a fresh recording when you’re ready.
DSS format delivers efficient compression without sacrificing voice quality, while supporting advanced editing and metadata for streamlined collaboration and workflow automation. PCM offers uncompressed, high-quality audio with broad playback compatibility, and MP3 enables convenient storage and easy file sharing.
